This is what she looked like when we were able to purchase the property. Breathing new life into this structure was a MUST! Lovingly referred to by the locals as ‘the Rug Room’, the main interior walls sported thick orange and red shag carpet - FROM FLOOR TO CEILING!! The last time that shag had seen any kind of cleaning was circa 1990. The faux stone front and the shake awning was in high fashion in the 70’s but in huge need of a face lift. The ceilings were low and it was a dark space.
