Gold Digger - Queen size luxury

Queen size bed in a private room with a private bathroom. A favorite among our regular guests - something about the name maybe? Comfortable bed. View of the main street. Attached bathroom with custom slider barn doors and a walk in tile shower. A little piece of heaven just waiting for you to arrive.

The Space

The historic Central Hotel was initially finished and opened in 1929. We have put our heart and soul into bringing it back to life. There are 12 guest rooms in all, 7 of them have a private bathroom in the room and 5 of them have sinks in the room with access to a private shower/toilet right next door.
We love this place and we think you will too :)

Guest access

Guests will have access to the front lobby, a large guest ‘living room’, & a private courtyard in the back complete with 2 firepits and overhead string lighting. There are no kitchens on property - we hope to encourage you to visit our neighbors and take in our downtown shops! There is a microwave in the ‘Sweat Shop’ that you are free to use as needed :)

Interaction with guests

We hope we get the chance to meet you! This is what makes our hotel so fun and so unique. We want to know where you're headed and where you came from. We plan to have a nightly 'meet & greet' for those that are interested. If you'd rather keep to yourself, no problem :)

Other things to note

You will have a key code to get into the property and a separate code to access your room. ALL rooms are on the 2nd floor and we do not have an elevator. Also, there are no TV’s in the guest rooms. We do have WiFi so bring your tablet, phone, computer if you need entertainment :) There is a community Keurig at the top of the stairs with an assortment of coffee pods &creamers in the community fridge space. There is also a community microwave available. Let us know if you need to use the washer and dryer - we can generally make that available as well.

We ask that you respect the CH as you would your own home. Please be respectful to other guests and abide by a 10:00 pm quiet time. Keep in mind - this is still an old building and if you’re in the hallway chatting … it might be keeping the other guests awake.

… “A gem of a small hotel: stylish, clean and very private. Thoughtful gestures such as a small fridge stocked with cold drinks and a large, walk-in shower add to the comfort. Burns itself, though small, offers all a traveler needs - restaurants, shops and friendly Oregonians. We came to birdwatch in Malheur but discovered hiking, the mustangs and hot springs as well. Highly recommended”. - D.

… “You will not be disappointed in this outstanding property. Thoughtfulness, luxury and good taste combine to make this an incredibly lovely stay. Sparkling clean, beautifully decorated. The kindness of the hosts adds to the already fabulous experience.” -E
